Think! Road Safety
Summer is coming to an end and the opening of school brings the need for all motorists to be aware of school buses stopping to load or unload students and to watch for children walking, running, riding, skate boarding to and from school, or the school bus stop.
The Silver Valley Unified School District School Year begins August 5th!
Office Closures
In observance of Labor Day, our offices will be closed on Monday, September 6th.
The Villages at Fort Irwin will be conducting a Staff Training Day and our offices will be closed on Friday, September 17th.
Community Events
We are hosting an Ice Cream Social on Wednesday, September 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sandy Basin's Courtyard. Join us for a cold treat in appreciation of our residents.
On the third Thursday of every month between 6:00-8:00 p.m., we will have a Family Movie Night in the Sandy Basin Community Centerfor our residents. Bring your family and friends for an evening of watching a fun family movie. Don’t forget your blankets and pillows. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Have a favorite movie in mind? Send us your request. Our next Family Movie Night is September 16th.

Calling all bakers! Every quarter, we will have a tasting contest to see who can create the most delicious dessert in the community. The winner will receive a prize along with runner ups. Our next Sweet Retreat contest takes place on September 28th in the Annex Building 4674 #C.

2010 Extravaganza

Yard of the Month
Every month one of our residents will be chosen to receive $50.00 off of their home cleaning when they maintain their yard. Good luck!
